The next day we finished the final booth construction before the show floor opened up. With our foam block purchased and cut to the right size it was just a matter of taping everything together with our best friend, gaffers tape.

Wire management for the gamepod was a little bit of a nightmare, but it turned out pretty well. I had to basically try to hide 9 sets of thick cable and make it all seem somewhat presentable. I still think if I had a chance to do it over I could have done better.

More pictures from the last few hours of setup.
With any show that we do, there are a bunch of people standing in front of our gamepod playing the games, rather than bore you with the same tired old pictures I'll move on to some of the other events that went on.
Friday night Penny-Arcade had a reception for all of the exhibitors. This is usually one of the highlights of the show, free booze and free food, sweet! Here you can see us all getting collectively trashed as the night goes on. Although Paul doesn't look like he's having a good time and wants to kill all of us, he's actually pretty fun to hang out with. We love you Paul!

As we left the reception we ran into our friends from Pink Godzilla. Although I didn't take my camera with me, we had a good time going out getting drinks with them. They frequent a local restaurant / bar where they actually serve a drink called the Pink Godzilla, after a few of those you can get pretty smashed. If anyone from Pink Godzilla is reading this, thanks for taking us out, we had a good time and if you ever make it to San Diego we'll definitely return the favor.
