Comic-Con - Day 6
Sunday was a hectic day. As we tried to sell out the last of our merchandise, we have the move-out looming over our heads the entire day. Although nothing is greater than hearing the official announcement of the close of Comic-Con, it's bitter sweet due to the fact that we have to move all of our crap out immediately after. Before all of this we have to try to sell the remainder of our stock, the best way to do this is to have Dan hold up a cardboard sign that he drew in an attempt to move the last of our figurines.
As the show comes to a close we begin to tear down the booth. In years past we had to make several trips back and forth in order to move out all of our display furntire. Since we had our super Ikea displays, it only required one trip out to the car to move the majority of our merchandise.
Thanks to everyone at Newgrounds, we had more than enough people to get out of the convention center in a reasonable amount of time. On a side note, at the end of the show someone decided to steal our batteries from our Xbox 360 controllers, idiots! So if you are the one who stole them and you are sitting at home with some yellow Ikea batteries and a plastic battery holder, good job, you're an idiot.
As we pushed all of our stuff back to the same parking lot that we first arrived at 5 days ago it symbolized the end of Comic-Con 2007. We had a great year at the Con, and as always it was a great time meeting all of our fans. Thank you goes out to those of you who stopped by and showed your support.
It was a great show this year and we look forward to Comic-Con 2008. In the meantime we are going to hide everything in our storage unit until we fully recover.
